A vacation for your skin

Having healthy skin habits is something that's very important to me for a myriad of reasons. Taking time to exfoliate, screen the sun, and moisturize the tips of your toes all the way up to your forehead has tons of benefits and can even be a mood elevator! I've been using Juara Candlenut Body Balm since I found it at a little apothocary in Kauai a couple years ago. There are tons of wonderful Indonesian ingredients in their Body Balm and every time I apply it I instantly get transported to a tropical paradise.

The moisturizing vacation aside, I have really watched my skin transform after using this in even a day! The key (to any moisturizing) is to apply right after the shower while you're still a bit damp, that way your skin soaks up all that the lotion has to offer and doesn't get dried out when the water dries. Don't forget your arms and booty, you'll be amazed how great they'll look!

I've been trying out Juara's Candlenut Body Creme, Polish and Exfoliant too and so far SO good! This lotion is never leaving my routine!

Some Things Lovely

Last week, after 2 long work days between both of us, and unsuccessfully scouring the cupboards for something decent to make for dinner, my boyfriend remembered he had a groupon to one of his favorite restaurants downtown. Needless to say I needed no convincing. I'm happy I didn't because turns out, getting out of town, so to speak, was just what we needed! Minus the bummer that the restaurant was closed down and after standing in front of it in shock for like 5 minutes, we ended up having one of the best nights ever!

In a beach bum state of mind

Set me on the sand with a plastic cup in my hand and a friend by my side and I'd be one happy camper right about now. Who'd have thought Quicksilver would have everything I'd need for my entire beach bum day all the way until roasting marshmallows at night! Seriously though. I need all these clothes!
